Terms and licence
Last updated 12 October 2026.
1. Who we are
DX Pro is sold through hamstream.co.uk. Contact: support@hamstream.co.uk.
2. What you are buying
A licence to use DX Pro, digital content supplied by download. One seat lets you run DX Pro on one machine. The licence is perpetual: the version you activate keeps working. Seats are tied to the email address you buy with and are activated from inside the application.
The website shows which features are available now, which are in development and which are planned. You are buying the software as it is when you buy it. Features marked in development or planned are not part of what you pay for today, and dates are not promised.
3. Price and payment
The price is shown on the Buy page in pounds sterling and is taken through PayPal. We do not see or store your card details. The optional remote relay, when it launches, is a separate monthly service with its own terms.
4. No trial
DX Pro is not offered on trial. The live demo on this website shows how it works before you buy.
5. Your right to cancel
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you normally have 14 days to cancel a contract for digital content. At checkout you ask us to supply the licence straight away and agree that you lose that right once it is supplied. The licence is supplied when payment completes. This does not affect your rights if the software is faulty, not as described or not fit for purpose under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 — tell support and we will repair, replace or refund as that Act requires.
6. The licence
- You may install and run DX Pro on as many machines as you hold seats for.
- You may move a seat to a new machine by asking support to release the old one.
- You may not resell, rent, share or publish your licence, or try to get round the activation.
- You may not decompile or modify DX Pro except where the law allows it.
- DX Pro remains our property. You are buying a licence to use it, not the software itself.
7. Operating your station
You are responsible for holding the right amateur licence and for every transmission made from your station, including transmissions started by automation features such as CQ calling or automatic sequencing. Keep watch and follow your licence conditions.
8. Updates
We may release fixes and new versions. Whether a later version is free to existing licence holders is stated when it is released.
9. Liability
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud. Otherwise we are not liable for loss of business, contacts, data or equipment, and our total liability is limited to the price you paid.
10. Trademarks
Product names of other companies are used only to say DX Pro is compatible with them. They are the trademarks of their owners, who do not endorse DX Pro.
11. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
